The box was worn and old. It even smelled a little weird, I wasn't sure what to expect when I opened it.  Once opened the memories flowed like stream of memories. Images of my mom in her wedding dress, photos of my dad as a little boy playing in the waves. Family photos in front of the same magnolia tree, year after year. I held the photos and ran my fingers over the top of them as if that would connect me even more with so much of my past. 

Isn't that what images do? They connect us to memories, moments and feelings that might have otherwise been forgotten.  Whether the images are tucked away in an odd smelling box or placed carefully in an album, they elicit the same response from the finders! Interest is peeked and stories start to be told.

 That is my goal for your family photos, to create memories and moments that you will treasure, moments that will make you smile.  Maybe they will be found one day by a child or grandchild. Maybe they will remember with a little laugh the day they were taken.
